This rare book was printed in 1980. Scaled to fit in the palm of the hand like a flick-book, it shows a series of photographs of a stand-off between two roosters in a field. Each image progresses the disagreement, as the pair variously puff their feathers, pretend to ignore each other, and go head-to-head in their dance. In the final pages, a cat stalks the dancing cocks, but they are too busy to realize they now have the attention of a predator.
