Robert Smithson: 5730–"Mirror Trail" 1969 for the Jewish Museum

In 1969, the Jewish Museum commissioned Robert Smithson to create a graphic for a Jewish new year greeting. However, at the last minute he changed his mind and submitted this photograph instead. The poster features an image of Smithson’s Mirror Trail, a Mirror Displacement work he made outside of Ithaca, New York.
